Rainbow Community

Open to all students, based on application.

The Rainbow Community is designed as an intentional living community affirming the cultural experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, non-identifying, and questioning residents as well as their allies. All residents are welcome to apply. Living in this area is an opt-in choice; therefore interested students must select Rainbow Community as one of their preferred living areas in their Housing application. The community is an additional option for students who desire gender-inclusive housing, as this living area allows roommate pairings regardless of sex or gender identity. Residents who have not already chosen a roommate can elect to be assigned a roommate who is also interested in gender-inclusive housing options. Residents who live in this community can expect to be paired with roommates regardless of gender identity. Prospective residents must complete a supplemental application regarding their interests in this community; admittance will be contingent upon this application. Please note that your answers will be kept confidential.
